     1. General information

 

     The Crimean Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch carries out loading and unloading operations and provides other services at the cargo terminal in the seaport of Sevastopol.

 

     At the cargo terminal, the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch offers the following services:

     - loading and unloading of cargo onto/from vessels, including from road and rail to sea ones and back;

     - cargo transshipment according to various schemes: export, import, cabotage;

     - cargo unpacking;

     - cargo technological accumulation and storage in open areas and indoor warehouses;

     - cargo (un)securing;

     - processing cargo reception and release (warehouse accounting);

     - processing documents for export and import cargo;

     - using the cargo terminal infrastructure.


 

     General information about the cargo terminal

 

     The cargo terminal comprises 7 berths, capable of handling vessels up to 170 meters in length, up to 21 meters in width, and with a loaded draft of up to 9 meters (at deepwater berths No. 210 and No. 211).

 

     The cargo terminal includes:

     - open-air storage areas with a total area of 52,300 square meters;

     - covered warehouses with a total area of 3,000 square meters;

     - private railway tracks with a length of almost 5.9 km;

     - crane runways;

     - highways;

     - Russian Federation border crossing facilities, including inspection points;

     - utility networks.

 

     The cargo terminal can handle:

     - packaged (general) cargo;

     - timber;

     - bulk cargo (inert materials, grain crops, scrap metal);

     - containers.

     To provide loading and unloading operations at the cargo terminal, there are:

     - Albatross gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 10 tons for grab handling or 20 tons for hook handling;

     - Ganz gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 5 tons for grab handling or 6 tons for hook handling;

     - assembly cranes with a lifting capacity of 32 tons for bucket handling or 16 tons for hook handling for unloading/loading cargo in the rear area (rail, truck);

     - frame cranes with a lifting capacity of 50 tons for unloading/loading cargo in the rear area (rail, truck);

     - forklifts with a lifting capacity of 4 to 16 tons;

     - a front loading truck with a bucket capacity of 3 cubic meters;

     - a port tractor with a 30-ton traction force;

     - a railway tractor for shunting operations on railway tracks.

 

     All in all, the capacity of the cargo terminal allows it to handle up to 3 million tons of cargo per year. Cargo can be delivered to and from the terminal both by road and rail.


 

     Cargo operations at the cargo terminal are carried out by the professional team of the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, ensuring a high level of quality in the services provided.

 

     2. Procedure for the provision of loading and unloading operations at the cargo terminal

 

     Loading and unloading operations at the cargo terminal are performed by the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Brach in accordance with the cargo transshipment contract (further referred to as Contract).

     To make a Contract the client shall file an application to the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch by fax: +7 (8692) 54-33-13: +7 (8692) 54-33-13 or e-mail: docs.svs@svs.rosmorport.ru . Within 5 days from receipt of the application together with the documents required for making a Contract, and provided that it is technically possible to perform the requested services, the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch sends a formal Contract to the client for signing. The client shall return a signed Contract to the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch by mail or courier at the address: 3 Nakhimov Square, Sevastopol, Russia, 299011.

     The cargo transshipment services are performed by the Crimean Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch in the manner and within the timeframes established by the Contract.
