By Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 13.06.2023 No. 212, amendments were made to the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Murmansk, coming into force on March 1, 2024.

The adjustments, in particular, are related to the expansion of the list of anchorages in the seaport of Murmansk by adding an anchorage at berth No. 15A in the area of the southern elbow of the Kola Bay.

Also, the data on the maximum draft of vessels that can call at the seaport of Murmansk has been adjusted in the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Murmansk. The maximum parameters for the draft of vessels are set at 18.5 m, with the condition that tidal phenomena are taken into account during moorage, loading and unloading operations at berths in the seaport of Murmansk.

Amendments to the compulsory regulations have established that there are no areas of optional pilotage of vessels in the seaport. The areas of compulsory pilotage of vessels in the seaport of Murmansk remain unchanged.
