In accordance with the Statute of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arctic Basin Branch the principal aims of the Arctic Basin Branch are as follows:
• creation, maintenance, operations and development of federal property assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport”, including navigation safety facilities;
• rendering services (execution of works) in the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Varandey, Dikson, Dudinka, Kandalaksha, Mezen, Murmansk, Naryan-Mar, Onega, Sabetta and Khatanga;
• ensuring realization of federal target programs of marine transport development.
Major activities of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arctic Basin Branch in the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Varandey, Dikson, Dudinka, Kandalaksha, Mezen, Murmansk, Naryan-Mar, Onega, Sabetta and Khatanga, related to rendering services (implementation of works) to consumers, include:
• VTS services;
• pilotage services;
• icebreaking services;
• ice advisory services;
• towage services;
• services on navigation aids installation and maintenance;
• sunken objects salvage services;
• geodesic and hydrographic services;
• dredging services;
• services on transportation of cargo with the use of specialized vehicles;
• leasing the property of the Arctic Basin branch in the established order.
