Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Posyet amended

By the order of Ministry of Transport of Russia No. 74 dated 10.03.2023, the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Posyet were amended.

The adjustments concern the clarification of the minimum number and capacity of tugs for vessels mooring operations in the seaport of Posyet, as well as in places of transshipment from vessel to vessel, in order to optimize the previously established excessive requirements for towing support during such operations.

This decision will reduce the shipowners costs for attracting tugs in the seaport of Posyet during mooring operations, while ensuring the necessary level of safety of navigation.

For reference:

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch provides towage services using two tugs in the seaport of Posyet. By the end of 2022, the branch provided towage support for 235 vessels calling at the seaport of Posyet.
