Boundaries of the seaport of Pevek change

In accordance with the Government of Russia Resolution No. 917-r dated April 14, 2023, the boundaries of the seaport of Pevek were amended.

The amendments mark that the land plots and the water area near Cape Nagleynin, where it is planned to build a marine terminal for the shipment of products of the Baimsky mining and refining plant, were included in the boundaries of the seaport of Pevek.

The capacity of the sea terminal will be about 2 million tons of cargo per year, three quarters of this volume will be accounted for by copper concentrate from the Peschanka deposit, which is being developed by mining and processing plants. The marine terminal is scheduled to be put into operation in 2026.

For reference:

FSUE “Rosmorport” has one land plot with a total area of 1.1 hectares in the seaport of Pevek, which is 5.8 % of the total area of the territory of the seaport of Pevek.
