Sakhalin Branch History

     The Sakhalin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” was created in September, 2003 by the order of FSUE “Rosmorport” № 27/OD dated 29.09.2003, approving the Statute for the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch.

     In July 2023, the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch began to provide navigational aids installation and maintenance services in the seaports of Korsakov, Nevelsk, Kholmsk and Shakhtersk. In the same month, the work boat Viktor Olenich and the non-self-propelled barge M350, previously operated by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch, were transferred to the management of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far East Basin Branch for further use by the branch for its intended purpose in accordance with the orders of FSUE “Rosmorport” No. 20 dated 20.01.2023 and No. 105 dated 21.03.2023. Simultanuosly with transfer of Viktor Olenich vessel the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch stopped providing towing services in the seaport of Shakhtersk due to the absence of other branch tugboats in the specified seaport.


     In October 2023, in agreement with Rosmorrechflot (letter No. KS-27/10699 of 13.09.2017 and No. KS-27/10700 of 13.09.2017) and on the basis of FSUE “Rosmorport” orders No. 391 of 22.09.2017 and No. 392 of 22.09.2017 and in accordance with the certificates of unserviceability in the OS-4 form of 18.10.2023, the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch decommissioned the following real estate assets from the balance sheet: “Berth” located in the village Tangi, Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky district, Sakhalin region, and “Berth” located in the village Khoe rural district Khoensky, Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky district, Sakhalin region, due to the complete physical cessation of the existence of objects.


     Today the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch is the only branch among all branches of the enterprise that carries out its activities in 7 seaports situated in the long distance from each other along the seashore of Sakhalin Island. The staff of the branch is about 195 employees. Using federal property, assigned to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch, the branch renders comprehensive services on navigation safety in the water areas and on harbor approaches in full volumes and of proper quality. 

 



     Representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch are members of various councils and consulting authorities of the region.
