Prospective Investment Projects

FSUE “Rosmorport” takes part in the implementation of investment projects aimed at developing port infrastructure, as well as ensuring the safety of navigation in the waters of seaports and on approaches to them in order to achieve and maintain the required level of functioning of the Russian port infrastructure meeting the highest international and national standards.

Prospective investment projects in which FSUE “Rosmorport” participates are part of the Development of the Core Network of Seaports federal project that is included in the Efficient Transport System national project.

The Efficient Transport System national project provides for the modernization of seaports and railway approaches to them. This will make the country's economic growth centers more interconnected and increase Russia's export capacity.

Within the federal project, it is planned to build and/or reconstruct terminals in seaports in order to increase the capacity of seaports on the main transport routes to ensure internal, external and transit cargo flows.

The core network of seaports includes both seaports focused on export and import cargo operations, and seaports in populated areas that lack automobile and railway infrastructure, as well as those to which northern deliveries are carried out.
