Boundaries of the Russian state border checkpoint in the Big Port of Saint Petersburg amended

Under Russian Ministry of Transport Order No. 247 dated June 30, 2022, boundaries of the cargo and passenger permanent multiway Russian state border sea checkpoint in the Big Port of Saint Petersburg have been amended.

The adjustments concern the clarification of the checkpoint borders at two marine terminals in the Big Port of Saint Petersburg.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch has 3 berths within the borders of the Russian state border checkpoint, clarified at the container marine terminal.

For 8 months of 2022, the operator of the marine terminal has handled more than 1 million tons of cargo at these berths. Of the total transshipment at the berths, 491.6 thousand tons were shipped for export, while imported cargo handled amounted to 552.2 thousand tons.
