Two Blocks of Icebreaker 21900M Project under Construction Matched

At Vyborg Shipyard on August 5, 2013 two blocks of icebreaker 21900M project were matched. It is the first of a series of three icebreakers being built at the shipyard in accordance with the government order.

Assembly section for the matching operation was a specially built at a shipyard for these purposes the "Atlant" self-submerge tow.

The matching ceremony was attended by the North-West Basin Branch Director Sergei Pylin, General Director of Vyborg Shipyard Alexander Soloviev, General Director of the Federal Autonomous Establishment "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" Michael Ayvazov, mayor of the Leningrad region Vyborg district municipality Alexander Lysov.

Information about the construction of three icebreakers 21900M project, the customer for which is the FSUE "Rosmorport", as well as other vessels in the interests of the enterprise could be found in the section "Development by the FSUE "Rosmorport" of Port Infrastructure Facilities and Fleet".
