The North-West Basin Branch employees took part in the festive events to celebrate their professional holiday, the Day of Marine and River Fleet Employee.

The celebrations started at the Peter’s Quay with the flower-laying ceremony at the monument "To Sailors and Fathers of the Russian Fleet". The ceremony was attended by Maksim Sokolov, Ministry of Transport of Russia, Oleg Markov, Vice Governor of Saint-Petersburg, members of the Government of Saint-Petersburg, representatives of the Council of Federation, Transport and Transit Policy Committee of the Government of Saint-Petersburg, Marine Council under the Government of Saint-Petersburg, federal state establishment AMP Big Port of Saint-Petersburg, representatives of other marine organizations, and also veterans of shipbuilding and young sailors.

During the event the management of the North-West Basin Branch awarded its distinguished employees by letters of gratitude and honors certificates for labor achievements and many years of dedicated work.

The end of celebrations was marked by a gala show organized by the Government of Saint-Petersburg in the Oktyabrskiy Big Concert Hall.
