Crew of the Irbis tugboat, owner of the 2023 year-end award, participates in major infrastructure projects
The crew of the Irbis tugboat of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch that was recognized as the best crew of the service and auxiliary fleet vessel at the end of 2023, ensured the continuous and efficient operation of the vessel last year. The total crossing time of the Irbis tugboat in 2023 amounted to more than 3 thousand hours.
The tugboat was engaged in various types of work related to the maintenance of navigation equipment in the waters of the seaports of Korsakov, Kholmsk, Nevelsk, Vanino, Sovetskaya Gavan, De-Kastri and on approaches to them, as well as in the sea terminals Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Severo-Kurilsk, Krabozavodsk and Malokurilsk in the area of responsibility of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin and North-Eastern Basin branches. In addition, the vessel successfully participated in the provision of a range of services for the implementation of oil and gas projects in the region.
Currently, the Irbis tugboat provides maintenance of navigation equipment in the waters of the seaports and on approaches to them in the area of responsibility of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin and Far Eastern Basin branches. It is also involved in the transfer of the non-self-propelled barge M350 from the seaport of Nakhodka to the seaport of Shakhtersk.
Sergey Vyprezhek, the second mechanic of the Irbis tugboat, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Transport and Public Road System of the Sakhalin Region in 2023 for his labor achievements and high professionalism. Vladimir Dzhemelinsky, the chief mate of the tugboat, was put up on the board of honor of the Sakhalin Branch of the enterprise.
On 10 April 2024, during the meeting to define key tasks and activities for 2024 and the mid-term perspective up to 2026, Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, solemnly awarded the branches that distinguished themselves in 2023. Alexander Schraitel, Director of the Sakhalin Branch, was awarded the badge “Best Crew of the Service Auxiliary Fleet Vessel” for the professional work of the crew of the Irbis tugboat last year.
