About Dredging Works Planning in the New Specialized Seaport in Telyakovsky Bay at Eastern Coast of Ussuri Bay, Primorye Territory

FSUE “Rosmorport” informs all interested persons of its intent to conduct dredging works starting in August 2015 for the project “Construction of a new specialized port at the Far Eastern coast of Russia”.

The works on this project is a subject of a tender, which FSUE “Rosmorport” is going to hold in 2015 in accordance with the requirements of Federal law No. 223-FZ dated 18.07.2011 “On goods, works, services procurement by certain types of legal entities”.

Dredging is supposed to be performed in “open waters” as the first stage, one month ahead of the berth construction.

The water area of the seaport under construction at Telyakovsky Bay on the Eastern coast of the Ussuri Bay (Primorye Territory) includes the following major parts:
1) berth No. 1 with the length of 321 metres at the I-II stages of construction, and 451 metres at the III stage of construction, and with the project seabed level of -19.1 metres;
2) berth No. 2 with the length of 321 metres at the I-II stages of construction, and 451 metres at the III stage of construction, and with the project seabed level of -19.1 metres;
3) multi-purpose berth No. 3 with the length of 165 metres and the project seabed level of -10.45 metres;
4) auxiliary fleet berth with the length of 123 metres and the project seabed level of -7.23 metres;
5) approach canal with the seabed level of -19.2 metres and the breadth of 200 metres;
6) turning basin with the seabed level of -19.2 metres and the diameter of 532 metres.

By the difficulty of its excavation the I-IV types of soil prevail. The soils of type I and II shall be extracted by a hopper dredger, of type III and IV – by a cutter-suction dredger. With the help of hopper dredgers the extracted soil shall be put to an underwater dump located in 11 kilometres (5.94 sea miles) from the dredging area.

The total volume of dredging to be performed is 7,083 cubic metres and the total size of the dredging area is 97.3 hectares.

In order to provide navigation safety in the approach canal and in the basins of the berths of the seaport under construction, and also safety of maneuvering while mooring at cargo line, it is necessary to construct and commission the following aids to navigation:
• marine light “Sukhodol”;
• marine light of the “Multi-purpose berth”;
• 4 light buoys to mark the boundaries of the approach canal;
• 8 light buoys to mark the boundaries of maneuvering basins of the seaport;
• light buoy to indicate the sandbank at Cape Azaryeva.

Please note, that the works described above can be performed together with the dredging in the waters of the Kozmino marine terminal and of the transport and handling complex in Vanino Seaport, provided that the contractor has the necessary dredging capacities.

In order to gather information, FSUE “Rosmorport” invites all potential contractors interested in performing of the works described above to send a free-form confirmation letter that shall contain main company details to t.maksimova@rosmorport.ru till 12.02.2015.

FSUE “Rosmorport” underlines that the present request of information does not constitute an obligation, neither stands for beginning of contractual relationship or a guarantee of cooperation between FSUE “Rosmorport” and a company that will send a confirmation letter.
