The team of the Eastern Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch took part in the city athletics relay in Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Teams of schoolchildren and students, enterprises and public organizations of Nakhodka competed in the event, which took place on May 8 on the embankment of the Solyonoye Lake. The relay participants had to cover a distance of 1,550 m, divided into 4 stages.

The Eastern Department of the Far Eastern Basin Branch was represented by 4 employees who for the first time performed as a single sports team showing collective spirit and coherence during the competition.

The athletics relay race in Nakhodka for Victory Day is an annual event aimed at paying tribute to war veterans and honoring the memory of those who died on the battlefields.
