On the eve of the Holiday of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, on May 8, 2024, management of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch held a meeting at the branch with veterans – those who lived in Leningrad during the Siege and who were honored workers of sea transport.

Alexander Strelnikov, Director of the North-Western Basin Branch, and the branch management spoke to the guests of honor and congratulated them on the forthcoming celebration of Victory Day.

After the meeting, employees of the North-Western Basin Branch together with the veterans took part in a solemn gathering dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, and in a ceremony of laying a wreath and flowers at the monument to the Heroes – sailors of the Baltic Shipping Company and the Leningrad Port.

The participants of the solemn event honored all the heroes killed in the battles with a minute of silence.
