Pilots of the Petropavlovsk Branch successfully escort the nuclear-powered lighter carrier Sevmorput to the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The pilots of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Petropavlovsk Branch successfully provided pilotage for the world's largest nuclear-powered lighter carrier Sevmorput, which for the second year now comes to Kamchatka for fish products.

The lighter carrier Sevmorput took on board 5,500 tons of Kamchatka fish products to deliver it to St. Petersburg by the Northern Sea Route.

This is another step towards ensuring regular and year-round delivery of goods by the Northern Sea Route.

After loading the fish products on September 8, 2020, the lighter carrier left the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and went to St. Petersburg.
