In accordance with the established procedure, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media has issued the following licenses to FSUE “Rosmorport”:
License No 160147 of November 16, 2017 to render communication services to provide communication channels, valid till November 16, 2022;
License No 160919 of December 14, 2017 to render mobile radio services in the public telecom network, valid till December 14, 2022.

The new licenses have been issued instead of the prior licenses, which expired in June 2017.

In compliance with the new licenses, the Astrakhan Branch will continue to render services
- for providing channels of digital radio relay lines to all concerned organizations in the area of the Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal (VCMSC) from Astrakhan to an island located on the 145^th km of the VCMSC;
- radio communication toward the “vessel-coast” direction and the “coast-vessel” direction while in the area of the Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal in the coverage area of VHF and MF/HF radio stations of the Astrakhan Branch.
