The Astrakhan Branch Fleet Expansion

Bumerang-1 pilot boat of RIB C-300 project was included to the Astrakhan Branch fleet.

The vessel was previously operated by the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch in the seaport Big Port Saint Petersburg for purposes of pilot delivery and removal in the seaport water area.

In the Astrakhan Branch, in turn, the vessel will be used for support of the branch’s pilotage service in the seaport of Olya water area.

Bumerang-1 pilot boat allows to perform prompt delivery of pilots under difficult navigation conditions, in shallow water and tortuosity of the channel bed.

Bumerang-1 pilot boat became the 4th pilot boat and 22nd vessel in the Astrakhan Branch fleet.

For reference:
Bumerang-1 pilot boat of RIB C-300 project was constructed in 2002 in Finland. In the period of 2002 to 2004 the vessel was operated by the state establishment “Sea Port Administration of  Saint Petersburg”. From 2004 the vessel was assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport” under the right of economic management and was operated by the enterprise in the seaport of Big Port Saint Petersburg.
