On July 1, 2016 a tow caravan composed of transport and installation of barge, on which an accommodation module platform AMP-2, Vzmorie tug boat, two Yak and Zubr pushers were placed, began the transition from “Krasnye Barrikady” shipyard on the Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal to V. Filanovsky field.

The towing operation involved pilots and VTS operators of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya, vessels and tidal gauges of Navigation and Hydrographic Support Service of the Astrakhan branch carrying out maintenance of hydrographic works along the route of the caravan.

To ensure the safe passage of towing caravan on water area of the VCMSK Astrakhan branch made additional adjustments floating warning signs along the route.
