Fleet of the Astrakhan Branch Replenished

On 12 November, 2015 Yenisei pilot boat, which was undergoing major renovations at the production facilities of the Onezhsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant, OOO from June to October this year,  arrived at the seaport of Astrakhan  from Petrozavodsk .

Specialists of the Onezhsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant, OOO repaired  vessel's main and auxiliary engines, emergency diesel generator, other machinery and ship systems, and also installed new radio navigation equipment.

The vessel will be used by the Astrakhan Branch for year-round delivery and stationing of pilots at the Astrakhan sea roadstead in the seaport Olya for the provision of the Astrakhan Branch pilotage services to the vessels navigatingVolga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal and calling at the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya.

For reference:
Yenisei pilot boat was built in 1988 at the Baku shipyard. The ship was named in honor of one of the greatest rivers in Russia  and the world – the Yenisei, which flows into the Kara sea of the Arctic ocean. Prior to the transfer to the Astrakhan Branch, the pilot boat was operated by the Arkhangelsk Branch of the enterprise.
